Have you ever been to a place that is so quaint and full of history that it feels like you’ve stepped into another world? I have! I’ve been to Cambridge. I’ve been there several times actually and it gets me every time. All these soaring gothic buildings, picturesque little cobblestone streets and passageways, leafy parks and meadows perfect for picnics and watching the days go by, all these lovely bicycles with osier baskets at the front, perfectly manicured college lawns (which you’re not allowed to walk on by the way), the steady flow of wooden punts meandering down the River Cam. And the Backs. Oh can we talk about the Backs? They’re the riverside back gardens of the colleges. I could see myself walking past everyday for the many years to come. In fact, I would move to Cambridge tomorrow if you were to find me a cute little townhouse there (one with a shiny black door). May I have a bicycle too?

    Gorgeous photos! Cambridge looks so charming. That last picture is my favorite 🙂 It makes me want to ride a bicycle through all of the picturesque scenery!
