Today I got a sneak peek of what spring is going to feel like. I woke up to gorgeous blue skies, warm rays of sunshine and growing flowers in the garden. I opened the window and it felt so lovely and warm out there that I had to take a few minutes to soak it all in. Suddenly all I could think of was spring… and Pinterest because I’m stupidly addicted. I created a new board straight away to pin all things related to the coming season and make a list of everything I’d like to do. I know it’s silly but I like mood boards and making lists. It gives me things to look forward to, envision and daydream about.
Here’s what’s on my list so far:
Go to the Flower Market on Columbia Road in London to pick up some fresh tulips and daffodils.
Treat myself to a hot cross bun (or two… or three!) for Easter.
Visit the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Organise an Easter egg hunt in the garden.
Plot a spring break (likely to be Paris in June to see my family)
Sit outside a café to enjoy a lazy lunch (maybe in Paris?)
Have a picnic at one of the Royal Parks in London.
Create new delish bruschettas.
Go on a bike ride in beautiful Cambridge.
Leave our windows open to catch the smell of flowers.
Visit the farmers’ market to stock up on asparagus and artichoke.
Celebrate my birthday surrounded by the people I love.
Spring clean my wardrobe. Invest in a timeless trench coat.
