I rarely use my suitcase more than twice a year. Most of the trips I do are 2 to 4 days long and I hate having to carry around a bulky suitcase. I like to pack light (even if I struggle with it and usually ask Rich to take some of my stuff). My best friend for all these short trips is called the weekend bag. I've been using one I found in the Men's section of a French shop called Jules. I actually bought it for Rich years ago but I love it so much that I always steal it away from him. It's made of dark brown leather and it's beautiful. I've never had that many compliments on a bag ever. It's been used and re-used throughout the years and it's now close to death. So I'm on a hunt for a new one. This Barbour wax cotton travel explorer holdall (excuse the mouthful) is at the top of my lust list right now. Perfect size, finish and colour. What do you think?
